Bills share their care

Buffalo Bills linebacker and Orchard Park native Jon Corto, Bills alumni Booker Edgerson, Bob Dugan, Ed Rutkowski, Harry Jacobs, Buffalo Jills cheerleader Amanda and Bills team mascot Billy Buffalo were in attendance at the Variety Kids Telethon 2009 on Sunday to lend their support.

"Share Your Care" was the theme for the Variety Kids Telethon held at the Grand Ballroom of the Adam's Mark Hotel in Downtown Buffalo. The telethon raised $1,156,877 for the Women's and Children's Hospital of Buffalo, Robert Warner M.D. Center for Children with Special Needs and many other local charities benefiting children that Variety serves.

Even during difficult economic times, needs continue for special children and the generous support of the Western New York community will help special children grow and achieve their hopes and dreams.

The 47th Annual Telethon for Variety - The Children's Charity of Buffalo & Western New York is the longest-running, locally produced telethon in the world and the 46th for WKBW Channel 7 television station.
