During his weekly Friday appearance on WGR550, Bills head coach Sean McDermott gave updates on the team's injury report heading into the AFC Championship game against the Chiefs.
McDermott shared that S Taylor Rapp (hip) will be OUT for Sunday's game. Rapp hasn't practiced all week after leaving the Divisional Round game with the hip injury. Rapp's absence puts rookie safety Cole Bishop in line to start.
LB Matt Milano (hamstring soreness) has been limited in practice this week, but has taken part in position drills during the media viewing portion of practice.
McDermott said that Milano will do "a little bit more today" as the Bills assess his availability and is expected to be a full participant in Friday's practice.
CB Taron Johnson (neck/shoulder) is also expected to be a full participant in Friday's practice.
CB Christian Benford (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol and will not be at practice on Friday due to a personal situation. Benford was able to practice Thursday with a red non-contact jersey.
The Bills will provide their final injury report of the week after practice.
