It's the preseason game where we'll get the longest look at the starting lineups. The big news with both sides of the ball is the players that are returning from injury to play against Washington this afternoon. While they don't figure to get quite as much time as the rest of the starters they'll be a big part of our watch list below.

Stevie Johnson –It will be the first preseason action for the Bills top wideout, who must use the time he gets on the field to get in sync with quarterback Kevin Kolb. Johnson will be lined up in the slot this season, so how effectively he works the middle of the field will be something to watch.

Leodis McKelvin –Much like Johnson, McKelvin will be seeing his first preseason action against the Redskins. The team will be closely monitoring McKelvin's snap count, but the five-year veteran has to show he can make the same plays on the ball that he's made in training camp practices.

Justin Rogers –Rogers has missed valuable time due to a hamstring injury and needs to have one of his better performances knowing Ron Brooks and Nickell Robey have shown to be worthy competition in training camp and the preseason.

Chris White –He won't see time on defense until late in the game, but his play on special teams has been noticed by the coaching staff. That will have to continue to have a chance at carving out a specialized role on the roster.

Aaron Williams –The corner turned safety has had a solid camp. With extended time on the field the former second-round pick needs to carry the playmaking ability he's shown in practice to the game field against Washington.
