Harrison Phillips is the Bills nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award and with your help has jumped into the top three of the Man of the Year Charity Challenge.
The Charity Challenge further celebrates and encourages fan support of the 32 Man of the Year nominees. We need you to to post on Twitter using #WPMOYChallenge followed by Phillips and/or @horribleharry99 to help him continue to climb up the leaderboard.
The nominee who receives the most hashtag mentions will receive a $25,000 donation from Nationwide to his charity of choice. The 2nd and 3rd place finishers will receive $10,000 and $5,000 donations from Nationwide respectively.
As a bonus, the first nominee to reach 1 million votes will receive an additional $10,000 donation from Nationwide.
This challenge runs through January 17 and Phillips encourages all fans to continue tweeting out votes.
"None of this is because I want my name as first place," Phillips said. "It's because I can bring a lot more awareness to the individuals and groups that I work with. There's a financial contribution that can come to my foundation, if I happen to win the fan vote. And I know that would go to some really, really good work here in Western New York."
