May 16, 2013 – DOUG WHALEY NAMED GENERAL MANAGER
Doug Whaley was named the 12th general manager in franchise history after Buddy Nix stepped down. Whaley was originally hired as Assistant GM/Director of Pro Personnel in 2010 and has overseen all Player Personnel since 2011.

RB Thurman Thomas played for the Bills from 1988-99 and was inducted onto the Wall of Fame in 2005 and in to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007. He played in 173 games for the Bills and ran the ball 2,849 times for 11,922 yards and 65 touchdowns.
