Moorman helps kick cancer

Bills punter Brian Moorman  is having a stellar year on the field and an equally impressive year off the field as he continues to make a positive impact on cancer families in Western New York.

The 4th Annual Celebrity Wine Pairing event was hosted by Moorman, his wife Amber, and their P.U.N.T. Foundation, Monday night at Asbury Hall in Buffalo.  All proceeds from the event benefit Moorman's P.U.N.T. Foundation which supports families in Western New York who are affected by pediatric cancer.

Supporting Moorman and in attendance were many of his teammates including Brad Butler, Kirk Chambers, Ryan Denney, Keith Ellison, Lee Evans, Derek Fine, Gibran Hamdan, Geoff Hangartner, Nick Hennessey, Chris Kelsay, Andy Levitre, Rian Lindell, Seth McKinney, Kawika Mitchell, Paul Posluszny, Garrison Sanborn, Bryan Scott, Jon Stupar, John Wendling, Kyle Williams, and Eric Wood.  Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas also attended the event in support of his Bills 50th Season All-Time Team teammate, Moorman.

The event included great wine and fabulous food and provided a fun way to meet new people – all in support of helping children who are battling cancer.

The P.U.N.T. Foundation relies on the backing of local companies, organizations and individuals to make a difference in the lives of children in WNY who are affected by cancer.
