Bills kicker Rian Lindell and punter Brian Moorman kicked off their offseason with a meet and greet opportunity for Bills fans at the Verizon Wireless store in Tonawanda on January 11, 2011.
The dynamic special teams duo had a good time visiting with many encouraging Bills fans on a wintry Buffalo night, and they were appreciative of the fans support this season.
"Buffalo has some of the most knowledgeable, loyal and supportive fans anywhere, and it's at events like this that you get a fun opportunity to meet some of them in person, and realize their passion for the team and our success is for real," said Moorman. "We also get to share with Bills fans just how much we appreciate them, and let them know how eager we all are to make next season a great one."
"It's always fun to say hi, meet the fans and share stories about the team," said Lindell. "I know that we truly appreciate the fans support and encouragement, and our team is already excited about next season."
Verizon Wireless and Apple® recently announced that the iPhone 4 is available through the Verizon Wireless network, and through their partnership with the Bills, the event was a unique way to help introduce the newest technology to America's most reliable wireless network.
"Verizon Wireless is proud to team with the Bills and have two of their best players visit with fans at the Verizon store in Tonawanda," said Ashley Marinaccio, Verizon Wireless store manager. "Not only are Brian Moorman and Rian Lindell two of the top players at their respective positions, but they also are positive role models off the field and we are fortunate and appreciative to host this fun event for Bills fans."
