Steve Tasker, Buffalo Bills Wall of Famer and CBS NFL analyst, his wife, and two of his sons visited the Town of Hamburg Recreation Department Disabled but Able Football Camp on November 22nd  - the last day of camp. Tasker's sons ran football drills with the children in the camp, while Tasker and his wife mingled with parents and coaches to show their support of the program.

The Children's Guild donated money to the clinic on Tasker's behalf. Catherine Gura, Children's Guild president, was also in attendance at the event held at the Bills Fieldhouse in Orchard Park.

The money donated paid for registration, new equipment, and a jersey for each child at the end of the camp.

Tasker was part of a special group that wanted to provide kids with disabilities, the opportunity to participate in a football camp.

"We made it possible for kids to sign up for a football camp," said Tasker. "These are kids that don't normally participate in team sports because of disabilities. We gave them a chance to be part of this camp and took care of their registration fees. This gave kids a chance to look forward to football practice and be part of a group that helps develop kids mentally and physically."

The camp ran for over one month and was held every Monday night in the Bills Fieldhouse during the month of November.

Parents of participating children shared their appreciation for the program.

"I've had a couple of parents come up to me and say this camp has really made a huge difference in their child's life," said Tasker. "Programs like these give kids the opportunity to assimilate into mainstream Physical Education classes. One lady was in tears over what this has done for her child. That's what it's all about. Helping the kids develop, overcome obstacles, and get closer to living a more normal life."
