Even though the Bills won their regular season finale, they will still pick in the top 10 in the 2019 NFL draft.
Buffalo holds the ninth overall selection in the draft coming up next spring.
Here are 10 things you need to know about the top 10 picks coming up in April.
1 – Arizona
This is probably the most attractive commodity the Cardinals have to offer a new head coach after firing Steve Wilks after just one season. The lowest scoring offense in football needs offensive linemen in droves and a whole lot of other talent, so there's a chance they move out of the top spot to stockpile multiple picks.
2 – San Francisco
Hurt by the season-ending injury to QB Jimmy Garoppolo, the 49ers have some quality pieces in place to make a vast improvement in 2019. Linebacker and cornerback look to be primary positional needs for the Niners.
3 - New York Jets
A new head coach in Gotham will have Sam Darnold on offense, but he needs help on the offensive line and at wideout. The Jets have holes on defense as well and they're likely to have a brand new scheme on that side of the ball too.
4 – Oakland
This is the first of three picks in round one for new Raiders GM Mike Mayock, but is he calling the shots or is Jon Gruden? Either way the offense and defense need playmakers after Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper were traded away.
5 – Tampa Bay
The Bucs say they're sticking with QB Jameis Winston, so does that mean they focus on helping a defense that gave up the second-most points in the league this year? Probably.
6 – New York Giants
GM Dave Gettleman passed on the 2018 quarterback class in favor of Saquon Barkley. It's unlikely he does it again, right?
7 – Jacksonville
In a draft class top heavy with defensive talent, do the Jaguars buck the trend and fix their quarterback position, or will that be handled via trade or free agency first?
8 – Detroit
The Lions are likely to move on from franchise defensive end Ziggy Ansah. It's a heck of a talent pool to pick from if you need a premier pass rusher.
9 – Buffalo
How the Bills spend their money in free agency will have an impact on the direction they take here at nine. At this spot, most draft prognosticators believe Buffalo can land one of the best offensive tackles in the class, a quality pass rusher or defensive tackle.
10 – Denver
Broncos GM and Director of Football Operations, John Elway, is probably regretting not taking a QB off the board with the fifth pick in 2018, but he could have a quality opportunity here at 10.
