In celebration of the NFL's 100th season, the League and its 32 teams are encouraging football fans around the country to get involved in their communities through the "Huddle for 100" initiative, in hopes of inspiring 1 million people to volunteer 100 minutes of their time to make an impact in their hometowns.
The Bills launched their #BillsHuddlefor100 campaign at the team's annual Staff Volunteer Day on Friday, May 17.
Not only are the Bills rallying together to embrace the cause, they are calling upon Bills fans, the best fans in the NFL, to do the same. Bills fans can show their support by volunteering for a cause of their choosing.
There are two ways for fans to record their volunteer efforts:
- Social Media: On Twitter or Instagram, fans can post a picture while volunteering with #BillsHuddlefor100, and the Bills will receive 100 minutes. If posting on Instagram, fans must also tag @NFL with the hashtag. Only public social media accounts will be able to be tracked and counted.
- Online Volunteer Submission Form: After volunteering, fans can fill out an online tracking form by visiting www.nfl.com/100/huddlefor100/sweeps. Fans should choose "Buffalo Bills" as their favorite team for their 100 minutes to be counted for the Bills' total.
Each use of #BillsHuddlefor100 and online form entry will count for 100 volunteer minutes.
Throughout the Huddle for 100 initiative, the NFL will give participating fans the chance to win a variety of prizes including team gear when they track their participation using #BillsHuddlefor100 as well as #Sweepstakes. Fans can also enter online at www.nfl.com/100/huddlefor100/sweeps.
On Friday, May 17, at the team's annual Staff Volunteer Day, Buffalo Bills staff members kicked off the #BillsHuddleFor100 campaign when they came together to help clean up Delaware Park.
