News and notes from Monday's media availability with the Buffalo Bills:

Injury updates heading into Week 16

The Buffalo Bills had a few injuries to note coming out of their 48-42 win over Detroit, but none of them appear to be anything serious.

QB Josh Allen went into the X-Ray room following Sunday's win after experiencing a "funky fall" after a play late in the game. Allen said he did it as a precaution but didn't have any additional pain.

"More peace of mind than anything, but everything checked out so all good," Allen said after Sunday's game.

Head coach Sean McDermott confirmed that Allen will be fine moving forward.

"Josh is all good," McDermott said Monday.

Tackle Spencer Brown is also "all good" after leaving the game in the second half.

CB Rasul Douglas (knee), S Taylor Rapp (neck/shoulder), S Damar Hamlin (back/ribs), DE Casey Toohill (ribs) & LB Matt Milano (groin) are all "getting better", according to McDermott.

The team will see how they are able to move through the practice week before making a call on their status for Week 16.

Hamlin, Rapp, Douglas and Toohill were all inactive for Sunday's game, while Milano started and got injured during the game.

Divisional games still important as playoffs near

On paper, Buffalo's schedule tilts in their favor over the three remaining weeks of the regular season. The Bills face the 3-11 Patriots twice (Weeks 16 & 18), with a home game against the 4-10 Jets in the middle.

Buffalo's division record since 2020 is impressive, posting a 22-5 record during that span. However, the Bills haven't swept the AFC East since that 2020 season.

Because division games are often closely contested, Buffalo knows they must be on guard and maintain the level of consistency in the final stretch of the regular season.

"Those divisional matchups that are always interesting, always come with a little bit more of a competitive edge and it makes for good football down the stretch," McDermott said.

The NFL announced Monday afternoon that Buffalo's Week 16 home game against the Patriots has been flexed from 1 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. It will be the Bills' third straight game at 4:25.

"When you're a good team, that tends to happen this time of year, and you just kind of keep your knees bent and stay flexible," he said.
