Bills head coach Sean McDermott spoke Friday morning and said the status of quarterback Josh Allen (elbow) is yet to be determined for Sunday's home game against the Vikings.
Allen is dealing with a right elbow injury and has been unable to practice Wednesday or Thursday. The plan for Friday's practice is still up in the air and the team is taking it "hour-to-hour" with Allen today.
"We are in an hour-to-hour situation here to see how he progresses through the day," McDermott said.
POST PRACTICE UPDATE:
Allen logged a limited practice session on Friday and is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday.
McDermott also said that safety Jordan Poyer and DE Greg Rousseau will not play due to injury. Poyer is out for the second consecutive game with an elbow injury and Rousseau is "week-to-week" with a high ankle sprain.
On the positive side, LB Matt Milano has been able to practice this week and McDermott said he's in a "good spot" for his chances to play.
ADDITIONAL FRIDAY UPDATES:
- CB Kaiir Elam (ankle) did not practice on Friday and is doubtful for the game.
- LB Tremaine Edmunds was limited as is listed as questionable.
- LB Matt Milano was a full participant and does not carry an injury designation.
