With back-up quarterback Mitchell Trubisky sidelined with a knee injury, Buffalo is adding another quarterback to the roster as the team heads into its final preseason game on Saturday. The Bills signed Anthony Brown on Tuesday.

To make room for Brown, the Bills waived/injured wide receiver Lawrence Keys III.

Brown most recently spent the offseason with the Las Vegas Raiders before getting waived last week.

The QB started his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens in 2022. Brown played in two games and made one start while completing 22-of-49 passes for 302 yards. He spent the 2023 season on the Baltimore practice squad.

Brown, 26, was an undrafted free agent who played at Boston College (2016-19) and the University of Oregon (2020-21). In his final season at Oregon, he accounted for 2,989 passing yards and 18 touchdowns while adding 658 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. He is originally from Aberdeen Township, New Jersey.
