The Buffalo Bills have finalized a trade with the Cleveland Browns for 5-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Amari Cooper, the team announced Tuesday.

Buffalo is sending a 3rd-round pick in 2025 and a 7th-round pick in 2026 to the Browns in exchange for Cooper and a 6th-round pick in 2025.

Cooper, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2015 Draft, has over 9,700 receiving yards and 62 touchdowns in his NFL career. The former Alabama product has recorded six seasons of 1,000-plus receiving yards, including each of the last two full seasons (2022, 2023) in Cleveland.

Cooper is a 5-time Pro Bowl selection, most recently earning the nod in the 2023 season where he recorded a career-high 1,250 yards and five touchdowns.

Bills QB Josh Allen gets another weapon added to his receiving core less than 24 hours after the Bills (4-2) beat the Jets 23-20 in Week 6. Allen has 1,160 passing yards and 10 passing touchdowns through six games this season.

This marks the second time in his career that Cooper has been traded midseason. In 2019, Cooper was dealt from the Raiders to the Cowboys on Oct. 22; Cooper had 674 receiving yards in seven regular season games with the Cowboys that season, an average of 96.3 yards per game.

Additionally, Bills WR coach Adam Henry worked with Cooper in Dallas during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Cooper led the Cowboys in receiving yards in 2020 (1,114) and was second on the team in 2021 (865). The Cowboys traded Cooper to the Browns on March 16, 2022.

During his first season in Cleveland, Cooper led the Browns in receiving yards (1,160), receptions (78) and a career-high nine receiving touchdowns.

In 2023, Cooper continued to be among the league's top WRs with a career-high 1,250 yards, including a 265-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Texans on Dec. 24.

To make room for the acquisition of Cooper, the Bills released WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
