The Bills are signing WR Jalen Virgil from the practice squad to the team's active 53-man roster, the team announced Friday.
Virgil was on the Bills practice squad the first nine games of the season and has been elevated to the game day roster twice.
The Bills will be without WR Keon Coleman (wrist) for Sunday's game at Indianapolis. WR Amari Cooper (wrist) is questionable.
Virgil was an undrafted free agent signed by the Broncos in 2022 after playing collegiately at Appalachian State where he had 98 receptions for 1,436 yards and 11 touchdowns in five seasons. The Athletic's Bruce Feldman listed Virgil as one of his “College Football Freaks” due to his speed.
Since coming into the NFL, Virgil has five catches for 75 yards and a touchdown.
The 26-year-old is from Lawrenceville, Georgia.
