Buffalo Bills release LB Von Miller

Von Miller

The Bills announced the releasing of pass rusher Von Miller on Sunday morning.

Miller spent three seasons in Buffalo and was an important leader in the locker room. The two-time Super Bowl champion played in 36 games and started in 11 during his time with the Bills.

Miller totaled 14 sacks, 23 quarterback hits, 17 tackles for loss and 41 total tackles in blue and red. The linebacker was off to a hot start with eight sacks in his first season with the Bills, but it was cut short due to a serious knee injury.

The three-time First-team All-Pro missed the final four games of the 2022 season and spent the offseason rehabbing. Miller made his first appearance following the injury during Buffalo's Week 5 game against the Jaguars during the 2023 season.

In his final season with Buffalo, Miller recorded six sacks and eight quarterback hits. The eight-time Pro Bowler has 129.5 career sacks, which puts him at No. 16 all-time.
