Bills QB Josh Allen was all smiles after winning his 100th career start on Sunday afternoon, when the Buffalo Bills dominated the Tennessee Titans 34-10. The Bills improved to 5-2 on the season with this win.

In the locker room after the win, head coach Sean McDermott honored Allen, who received the game ball.

"He's awesome," WR Khalil Shakir said. "He's a dope player. He obviously is an insane playmaker, but he's an even better dude. Just to know him as a man, he's a dope person to be around, dope leader. I'll follow him into battle any day."

"100 starts is crazy. It's a big achievement. And the level that he's playing at too for 100 starts, it's inspirational. It's dope and that's my leader, that's my captain right there."

Teammates Dawson Knox and A.J. Epenesa also were able to reflect after the game about Allen and what he means to this team and what it meant to get this win for him.
"He deserves every bit of it," Knox said. "He's an absolute warrior, and he plays through stuff all the time. There's no other guy I'd rather play for. So, it's huge getting him a win for his 100th."

"Josh has been pretty amazing since I've been here," Epenesa said. "He's made some crazy plays, he's had some jaw-dropping plays… It's pretty amazing to watch him work and to watch him go through his process all the time, and just to be a part of his legacy here. It's cool to be a part of his team. I love having 17 on our team and watching him work."

Allen turned in a vintage performance, turning in his first 300-yard passing performance of the season, passing for a total of 323 yards and two touchdowns.

"He's done so many things," CB Taron Johnson said. "I've been on this team the whole time he's been on here, so it's my expectation. I'm not surprised because he's been doing it for so long at this point. So, he just keeps making plays. I'm happy he's my quarterback."

Newly acquired WR Amari Cooper had his first opportunity to play alongside Allen and said that he was impressed with his play.

"It was very impressive," Cooper said. "He's a great player. Had the opportunity to watch him, obviously through the television, for quite some time now. He's had his hundredth start today, seems like he had a hundred amazing performances, so I guess this was no different. He went out there, he did his thing like he usually does, but he's a phenomenal player, for sure."

McDermott said after the game that he wrote down how many times Allen was affected in the first half and how many times he was affected in the second half. The play that stood out to him the most was a third down-and-eight conversion that Allen threw to TE Dalton Kincaid that the offense eventually punched into the end zone and expanded their lead at the start of the fourth quarter.

"The play that stands out to me is the throw to Dalton," McDermott said. "It was a third-down conversion, that was a huge play, right, great throw, great catch… Big time play, and it looked like Josh in the second half."

The first half looked a little shaky for the offense as they punted on five of their six first half drives.

"Yeah, not ideal to start the way we did," Allen said. "Our defense kept us in it long enough where we figured it out."

It looked like a tale of two halves as in the second half, they scored on all five of their possessions after a big defensive stop on fourth down by DT DeWayne Carter.

"I do love and appreciate our guys, how we came out in the second half, our defense getting a stop," Allen said. "Fourth down conversion allowed us to get some momentum right there. And we just found a way. It didn't look like it was going to be pretty in the first half, but to win the way we did speaks a lot to the guys in the locker room."

Several days before his 100th start, Allen was gifted a new weapon in Amari Cooper. Cooper made an immediate impact just five days after being traded, catching 4 balls for 66 yards and 1 touchdown.

"It's a huge shout-out to him for putting in the extra hours of getting ready for this game," Allen said of Cooper. "It's not easy being traded in the week and playing a game and playing real live reps where he played quite a bit. Shout-out to him… It's huge to have him out there."

McDermott was also impressed with Cooper's performance having just been with the team for five days.

"He made an impact just in four days, really, four teachable, learnable days," McDermott said. "And then to come out on day five here and execute like he did was impressive. And I give him credit and the time he was able to put in with DJ Mangas both in this case player and coach putting in extra time to come out and execute like he did."

The Bills have built up some positive momentum with back-to-back wins. While much of the attention was on Allen, he kept his goal to keep building momentum.

"We just use it to keep riding the momentum," Allen said. "Having good weeks of practice, having good weeks of game planning, trusting the offense and what's in front of me, trusting what Joe was calling. At the end of the day, just going out there and executing on any given Sunday, Monday, Thursday."
