Unable to practice at all this week, rookie running back Devin Singletary will miss Sunday's game against the Bengals with a hamstring injury.
"He didn't practice (Friday) and he's going to be out for the game," said head coach Sean McDermott.
Also out for the Bills on Sunday will be nickel corner Taron Johnson (hamstring) and TE Tyler Kroft (ankle).
For Kroft the timing could not have been worse. The tight end was on track to make his Bills debut this weekend as he worked his way back from foot surgery in the spring. He practiced fully for the first time this week, but suffered an ankle injury in practice on Thursday.
"It's headed in the right direction, a good direction," said McDermott of Kroft's injury, which he said he's less concerned about now than he was Thursday. "When he went down in practice everyone felt for him because they know how hard he worked and what a great teammate he is."
LB Corey Thompson, a core special teamer, is questionable for the game after sustaining an ankle injury during the week.
Primary return man Andre Roberts was declared good to go by coach McDermott and is expected to make his Bills debut Sunday after practicing fully on Friday.
