Buffalo had a handful of players not participating at practice on Wednesday. John Brown and Lorenzo Alexander were given veteran rest days, but for the other three players, injuries kept them sidelined.
Jerry Hughes is dealing with a nagging groin injury that flared up during the practice week last week. He did play in last Sunday's game, but the medical and athletic training staff thought it best for Hughes to get another day of rest coming off that game.
Siran Neal is in the concussion protocol and was not practicing.
Ty Nsekhe was labeled "week to week" by head coach Sean McDermott with his ankle injury suffered against Miami. McDermott did not rule anyone out for this week's game against Denver.
How each of these players get through the week will bring their playing status into better focus for Sunday.
