The Bills are making sure one of the best tackles in the game stays in Buffalo. Dawkins, a three-time Pro Bowler, has agreed to a three-year extension with the Bills that keeps him with the team through the 2027 season.
Over the last several seasons, Dawkins has elevated his game to become one of the most reliable tackles in the NFL. In 2023, Dawkins allowed a 6.9% pressure rate in 2023, 3rd-lowest among left tackles according to Next Gen Stats.
Coming out of Temple University, Dawkins was drafted in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft and started 11 games in his first season in Buffalo. Dawkins has been selected to the Pro Bowl each of the past three seasons. Last season, the left tackle posted a 93 percent pass block win rate, the fourth-highest in the league among offensive tackles.
A two-time nominee for the NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year award, Dawkins has been an integral part of the Buffalo community, spending time giving back to the town he said welcomed him from the beginning.
