Bills sign Cam Lewis to 53-man roster; Justin Zimmer place on injured reserve + other moves announced

The Bills announced that cornerback Cam Lewis has been promoted to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.

Lewis joined the Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He has played six career games with three career starts. Lewis is an alum of the University at Buffalo.

Defensive lineman Justin Zimmer will be placed on injured reserve with a season-ending knee injury that will require surgery.

Quarterback Davis Webb will be elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Jets.

Quarterback Jake Fromm and wide receiver Tanner Gentry were activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
