Sean McDermott announced that linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (hamstring) will be out for Sunday's game against the New York Jets. The announcement was made on McDermott's appearance on WGR 550 on Friday.
Edmunds is the team's leading tackler (55).
The head coach also announced that right tackle Spencer Brown and tight end Dawson Knox are trending in the right direction with regard to playing on Sunday. Also, McDermott mentioned that cornerback Taron Johnson has cleared concussion protocol.
Running back Zack Moss remains in concussion protocol. He is the only player listed with a questionable designation heading into Sunday.
