The Bills have added defensive end Jeff Holland to the roster in advance of Thursday's fourth preseason game.
Holland was waived by Arizona on Aug. 25. He spent two weeks with the Cardinals after signing with Arizona on Aug. 12.
An undrafted free agent from Auburn, Holland signed with the Denver Broncos following the 2018 NFL Draft. Holland spent most of 2018 on Denver's practice squad before being activated for the final three games. Holland had six tackles in those games. He spent the majority of the 2019 offseason with Denver before being released in the middle of Denver's training camp.
In 2019, Holland played two preseason games with Denver and produced four tackles before getting waived. Holland also played two preseason games with the Cardinals where he received 29 defensive snaps and recorded three tackles.
At Auburn, Holland was first team All-SEC and recorded 10 sacks in his final season. Holland is a native of Jacksonville, FL.
To make room for Holland, the Bills released punter Cory Carter.
