In the wake of the season-ending injury to DT Harrison Phillips, Buffalo has promoted one of their two defensive tackles on the practice squad.
The Bills elevated DT Kyle Peko to the active roster Tuesday to fill the void on Buffalo's defensive line after Phillips was placed on injured reserve.
Phillips suffered a torn ACL in last Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Peko (6-1, 305) has never appeared in a regular season game for the Bills, though he was on the club's practice squad last season.
He has played in seven career games between the 2016 and 2017 seasons for the Denver Broncos.
Practice squad change
The Bills also re-signed LB Nate Hall to the practice squad and released LB Curtis Akins.
