Bills linebackers Deon Lacey and Andre Smith have been elevated from the practice squad.
Lacey was added to the practice squad this week after linebackers Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano and Del'Shawn Phillips suffered injuries versus the Jets in Week 1. The three have been ruled out for Sunday's game. Lacey spent last season with the Miami Dolphins. He spent 2017 and 2018 in Buffalo. Lacey totaled 20 tackles in 48 career games. Lacey will wear No. 40.
Smith spent the last two seasons with the Carolina Panthers. The linebacker has played in 19 games and totaled eight tackles. Smith will wear No. 59.
Buffalo has also signed center/guard Jonotthan Harrison to the practice squad. Harrison was a free agent who most recently played for the New York Jets from 2017 to 2019. The offensive lineman was an undrafted free agent who was picked up by the Colts in 2014. Harrison has started in 42 games and played in 84.
Offensive lineman Victor Salako was released from the practice squad.
