The Buffalo Bills placed safety Micah Hyde (neck) on injured reserve (IR), the team announced on Saturday.
Hyde, one of the Bills' leaders on defense, left last week's home opener against the Titans with a neck injury and did not return. He has been unable to take part in any of the Bills' practices this week leading up to Sunday's game at Miami.
The Bills made additional roster moves on Saturday, signing DT Brandin Bryant and DT Prince Emili to the active 53-man roster. Both players were on the Bills practice squad.
The team has also elevated CB Ja'Marcus Ingram and C Greg Mancz from the practice squad for the Miami game.
