The Bills announced the promotion of linebacker Deon Lacey to the 53-man roster. Linebacker Del'Shawn Phillips (quad) was placed on injured reserve.
Lacey has played in two games this season and logged 34 special teams snaps (with one tackle).
Lacey re-joined the Bills in September. He spent his first two NFL seasons in Buffalo from 2017-2018. He moved onto Miami for the 2019 season. Lacey is a native of Brightin, AL and played his college football at West Alabama.
He started his professional football career in the CFL with the Edmonton Eskimos where he played for three seasons.
The Bills also announced that offensive lineman Evan Boehm was waived/injured from the practice squad.
