The Buffalo Bills have re-signed LB A.J. Klein to a one-year deal, the team announced Monday.
Last season, the Bills claimed Klein on Nov. 17 and the linebacker went on to play in six games with the team. In those six games, the linebacker started in one; he combined for 11 tackles and one tackle for loss.
Klein, 31, is entering his 11th year in the NFL and fourth year with the Bills. During his NFL career, he has played for the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Ravens, Bears, and the Bills. In 144 career games, Klein has tallied four interceptions, one touchdown, 20 passes defended, eight forced fumbles, 15.5 sacks, 465 combined tackles, and 45 tackles for loss.
The Wisconsin native was drafted out of Iowa State in the 5th round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Panthers, where he spent the first four years of his career.
