The Buffalo Bills made a series of roster moves Tuesday morning that included signing free agent WR Cole Beasley to the practice squad and signing DT Brandin Bryant to the 53-man roster.
The corresponding moves included releasing C.J. Brewer and releasing WR Marquez Stevenson from the practice squad.
The signing of Beasley reunites the wide receiver in Buffalo and gives the Bills the potential for another offensive weapon to be brought up to the game day roster. The now 33-year-old wideout played for the Bills from 2019-2021 and was a reliable target for QB Josh Allen during that span.
Last season, Beasley recorded 82 catches for 693 yards and one TD in 16 games with the Bills. He became a free-agent in March of 2022 and signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad in September before announcing his retirement in October.
However, Beasley has come out of retirement to sign with the Bills and will be on the practice squad beginning this week as the team prepares to host the Miami Dolphins on Saturday at 8:15 p.m.
