The Bills announced the signing of linebacker Darron Lee on Monday.
Lee, 6-1 and 232 pounds, was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019. The linebacker also played for the New York Jets from 2016 to 2018. In his four seasons, Lee has 266 total tackles, three interceptions, four sacks, 11 passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
He was drafted by the Jets in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft with the 20th overall pick. Lee played collegiately at Ohio State. In 2015, his team won the College Football Playoff.
To make room for Lee, the Bills released linebacker Ahmad Gooden from the practice squad.
Also, tight end Nate Becker was activated from the COVID-19 list and reverts back to the practice squad.
