The Bills announced Monday that they have released wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III and offensive lineman Garret McGhin.
McCloud was drafted by the Bills in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. In 2018, the receiver played in 10 games collecting five receptions for 36 yards. McCloud was signed back by the Bills to their practice squad in October 2019 after being waived by the Carolina Panthers. On January 6, the wide receiver was signed to a reserve/future free agent contract.
McGhin originally signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent but spent part of the 2019 season with the Panthers. The offensive lineman was signed again by the Bills in April after being waived by Carolina.
The roster moves cut down the team to a total of 86 players. Per COVID-19 adjustments to the CBA, the roster needs to be set to 81 players by August 16 (the Bills have a roster exemption for RB Christian Wade via the International players program).
